The location for the June 20 Classical Guitar Society monthly meeting has been changed. 
 
NEW LOCATION: The meeting will be held at the home of Sheldon Stanley at 1616 23rd St. NW  (Phone 607 0883) 
 
DIRECTIONS: From Trans Canada highway (16 Ave), head towards 19th St. NW.
Turn South onto 19th St W. (Heading AWAY from the Home Depot on the northeast corner of 16th Ave and 19th St.)
Take the first right hand turn onto 14th Ave.
Near the end of 14th Avenue, turn right onto 23rd St.
Sheldon is right at the end (corner house) on the right hand side with a fire hydrant on the lawn. You should be facing a traffic wall that divides the neighbourhood from 16th Ave.
 
ANNUAL MEETING: This meeting is the annual meeting for the society, so if you would like to volunteer to help the board next year, this is your chance.

After a full year of testing with a number of students I feel that lessons by video conference has come of age. For software I use iChat for the Mac OS X operating system since it is simply part of the operating system and it works very well, For students using windows XP, Windows Vista or Unix based systems: I use Skype. Skype can also be used on the Mac OSX (Panther, Tiger or Leopard)
